My Dog Blog

I've had a request =) for some pictures of Jazzy. Here she is when we first brought her home. She was so tiny back then...so innocent...so much clamer! Now we affectionatly call her "the beast" or "beasty" for short. This is due to the fact that she loves to eat things in our house, especially the kid's toys. Her latest conquest was the legs off of 2 of Maddie's little ponies. Sadness.
I don't know how normal this is, but Jazzy LOVES the snow. Buying a puppy in winter and trying to house train her with snow outside was a little tough. She would stay outside all day if we let her. Here's where I let her play outside for a little too long (it was actually only like 15 minutes). The snow totally stuck to her fur and these snowballs did not just brush off mind you. She brought all this snow into the house and it took a while to melt off. Learned my lesson on that one.
Here is Jazzy today. She has grown quite a bit already. She is a bit calmer. Hardly any accidents inside these days, but still loves to eat things around here that she shouldn't. We are starting puppy training classes next monday night for 8 weeks, so hopefully that will help. But all things considered: the kids love having a dog and she does pretty good for the most part with them. One nice thing - this dog does not shed! And my allergies have been fine. That's it for my "dog blog."
